San Franciscan Salad

Also known by it’s lesser names: Scurvy Prevention Salad and Blood Boost Salad

Kale (chopped)

Strawberries (sliced)

Lemon juice

dash of Olive Oil (optional)

Be sure to use organic produce.

Toss altogether in a bowl for a salad that’s sweet, crunchy, tangy and pack with Iron and vitamin C.  Best to let lemon juice marinade the leaves for a few minutes before eating.

Save the World Sandwich

Save the World Sandwich Recipe:

ingredients:

-whole grain bread

-firm tofu (non-GMO)

-organic kale

-organic cilantro

-mustard

-half lemon or lime or lemon juice

Directions: Pretty simple-make a sandwich to your liking with the given ingredients. Lather bread with mustard and apply a thick chunk of tofu and pieces of fresh kale and cilantro. Squeeze the juice from lemon over the kale.

Note: Kale and Cilantro are the most important ingredients to get organic, because they absorb chemicals into their leaves. To maximize the save-the-world potential of your sandwich, use only organic ingredients that come from local sources.                              (-;
